Lew Solomon is an industrial real estate professional with Lee &
Associates in New Jersey. His area of expertise is in the acquisition
and disposition of industrial properties for corporate, institutional and
private companies on a local and national basis. Currently Lew is
concentrating on the Meadowlands and Fairfield industrial
marketplace.
Lew has successfully leased properties in northern New Jersey that
range from those owned by individuals to major industrial REITs such
as AMB Property Corporation. He also successfully negotiated the
sale of 120 North Street in Teterboro in which he represented both
sides of the transaction. In addition, Lew has been actively
representing customers in the acquisition of many properties that
involve both industrial and office requirements.
He was awarded “Deal of the Year” in 2006 at Lee & Klatskin
Associates for the representation of Respironics in acquiring 26,000
square feet of office space with Mack-Cali.
Lew credits his recent accomplishments to his 30 years of experience
as a business owner in the wholesale produce industry. His primary
roles included the acquisition of product as well as sales manager.
His customer base included supermarket chains, wholesale
distributors, purveyors, and independent retailers from the tri state
area.
Lew was able to come away from the produce industry with a keener
sense of understanding the needs of his customers which he was
able to translate into effectively communicating with both his current clients and tenants he represents.
