The manual was updated because we upgraded some of the technology – the PDf is available on the website (look at? the video instruction page)

  2. AliveAir on June 22, 2012 at 10:51 am

Yes – it detects these particles and adjusts the fan speed up until the air? is clear to save electricity and adapt to the conditions.

  3. caryrabbit on June 22, 2012 at 11:03 am

    It’s full? of technologies!

  5. AliveAir on June 22, 2012 at 11:35 am

It adjusts th efan motor speed depending on room conditions, but the machine has to? be on.

  6. icychap on June 22, 2012 at 11:57 am

How does the air quality sensor work? Does it turn on the machine when? it detects dust or an odor?

Also, would this be a good choice for cigar smoke?

  7. AliveAir on June 22, 2012 at 12:37 pm

Turn it off. Then put the end of a paperclip into the reset hole on the right? as you push the “timer” button. You’ll hear a beep. There are videos on this at aliveair.com too showing this..

  9. needlessthing on June 22, 2012 at 1:18 pm

umm viruses are alive. They contain DNA. They just cant reproduce with out taking over a hosts cells. It is considered a single celled? organism. So I am confused by your statement.

  12. mytuber81 on June 22, 2012 at 2:47 pm

I just? recieved my ‘Alive air purifier’ today and it only came with a remote. No maintenance instructions, manuals or anything. Why is that?

  13. MedTechFL on June 22, 2012 at 2:50 pm

What is? the CADR rating of your product?

  14. rageofreason on June 22, 2012 at 3:08 pm

This is an important remark you made: negative ions enhance the bodies ability to absorb oxygen. Negative ions? can be produced by transducers vibrating at ultrasonic frequencies (such as in some types of pond foggers).

  15. saggysack89 on June 22, 2012 at 3:59 pm

Kills viruses?? How does one kill that which is not alive?? =p sorry to be difficult I’m just curious…

  16. AliveAir on June 22, 2012 at 4:00 pm

An ionizer is? different from a negative ionizer. Some ionizers use plates and positive ions which can create ozone.

  17. AliveAir on June 22, 2012 at 4:58 pm

Unfortunately we have misused what nature has given? us.

  20. AliveAir on June 22, 2012 at 6:20 pm

Incense is no problem… We? just want to make sure people get the most from the HEPA filter possible and some chemicals use up the hepa faster

  21. AliveAir on June 22, 2012 at 7:12 pm

    Thank? you

  22. AliveAir on June 22, 2012 at 8:08 pm

  26. BONZAII42 on June 22, 2012 at 10:41 pm

Dude, this may be a great video, and I believe strongly in Air Purifiers, I used to sell the Alpine ones like mentioned in some of the comments, but PLEASE next time you make a video, DO NOT use that background music… WOW, I was ready to pull my hair out while trying? to listen to you through that music.. Purify that first.. :)

  30. tn526 on June 23, 2012 at 12:37 am

some models have the hepa/charcoal with the charcoal facing inward (post hepa) and some models (mine) have the same filter but with the charcoal facing outward (pre hepa) what’s the? difference?

  31. sownzgr8 on June 23, 2012 at 1:03 am

Wow, why didn’t I think of that. I use zeolite, DE, baking soda, etc powders internally. Sounds like it should work to clean fridges and? small areas. As per my previous post, I just determined high levels of pollution I was measuring wasn’t all from outgassing found in factory made materials, but from ozone from my ozonators/ionizers. This isn’t to say I was completely wrong though. This O3 gas isn’t “pollution” either. It just tricks pollution sensors.

  32. AliveAir on June 23, 2012 at 1:41 am

One of the best, low cost, ways to trap gases is to buy a large bag of Zeolite which is great? at attracting and holding gases, VOC’s etc. . Then put it out in the sun for an hour an the gases are released and it can be used again. Thanks for the comment, and yes we live in a world with a lot of pollutants

  33. sownzgr8 on June 23, 2012 at 2:30 am

After extensive studying into air quality, every conventional air purifier and cleaner I’ve tested does nothing to trap molecular level (gas) air, not? even ozonators – which contradicts the claims made by mfgers. The only thing that works aside from open windows, is to force air thru water. Water is able to trap gases. The tradeoff is elevated humidity – which begs a dehumidifier be incorporated. The problem is material outgassing. Avoid carpets, toxic paint, etc. Toss old clothing. Live frugal.

  34. AliveAir on June 23, 2012 at 3:12 am

    a few hours..?

  35. AliveAir on June 23, 2012 at 3:22 am

That’s right..the first? thing that breaks in any air purifier is the motor – this motor will last over 11 years running 24/7

  36. AirPurifierReview on June 23, 2012 at 3:58 am

The? aliveair motor is rated for over 100,000 hours…

  37. AliveAir on June 23, 2012 at 3:59 am

As a matter of fact, a well-known Gold company in Nevada purchased? several of our units for just that purpose – their ‘clean’ rooms. The Purchasing Manager said that she had researched for a long time and finally decided that our Alive Air Purifier far outweighed the competitors.

  41. AliveAir on June 23, 2012 at 6:49 am

To kill germs and mold you need UV and Tio2, and? the HEPA for particles so.. Yes… this does a good broad-range for clean rooms…
